The St Swithun’s School parent teacher association (PTA) is a friendly, vibrant and active organisation comprising parents and staff in both the prep school and the senior school.
It aims to:
- promote close cooperation and communication between parents, staff, pupils and the school council
- engage in activities which support and advance the welfare and education of the pupils attending the school
- help further the interests of St Swithun’s school
- raise funds for the school and for the school’s charities

In addition to whole-school social events such as quiz night and the summer ball, individual year groups get together every term at events organised by a network of parent year representatives. The PTA also manages the second hand uniform shop and regularly attends the school’s open days to talk to prospective parents.
