St Swithun’s - Why Work For us?
St Swithun’s staff are skilled, hard-working and committed to providing world class teaching, experiences and facilities for our students. We encourage our 330+ staff to bring new ideas and a passion for their area of expertise, and we know that our school community is enriched by their diversity of skills and experiences.
We are serious about the work we do and the results we achieve, but we also like to have fun along the way.
We offer a rewarding working environment, a range of generous employee benefits, opportunities for continuous professional development and wellbeing activities throughout the year.
Teaching Staff
We look for teachers who can enthuse and empower our students to develop ways of thinking and of behaving that will equip them for success both in school and beyond. Whether you teach our youngest children in Early Years or support our Oxbridge candidates in Sixth Form, we encourage you to get fully involved in school life; from supporting plays and concerts to joining Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
We are always keen to hear from teaching staff who may like to join our boarding community; living on site and providing the highest levels of pastoral care for students across our six boarding houses.
Support Staff
From admissions to the boarding houses, through to the library and the swimming pool, support staff at St Swithun’s are crucial to the smooth running and success of the school. Our support departments are specialist and diverse and we offer a wide variety of career opportunities.
We are proud of our friendly and committed staff and are looking for great people to help us maintain the traditions of St Swithun’s but also help us evolve and make a positive difference in shaping future generations.
Please do have a look at our career opportunities; we would love you to join us.
